Organize your shop

Is there a way to organize your items to put them in groups of similar items? I tried using the Widget, but my shop still looks the same — a mess of items.

First off, widgets are for you to put a sample of your items on a blog, or website that you have.
It has nothing to do with sorting the items in your booth

The default sorting of all booths at this time is Popularity, so which ever items have the most clicks (views) will be first.

If you have a membership then you can sort the first 100 of your items any way you wish (Seller’s Choice) with any of the other options as a secondary choice for all the other items.

So to answer your question, unless you opt for a membership, there is no way to reorganize your listings…

Also note that anyone who comes to your booth will more than likely come from searches, and go directly to an item. Unless they choose to go to your main booth page they will rarely see the way it looks. The person viewing can also change the order to examine your items, by clicking on the drop down menu in the upper corner of your booth.

I would not worry about it at present and if your booth becomes active enough to support a membership, then you can purchase a membership and opt to change the order of items…but with less than 100 items at present, I do not see this as really an issue

You can create custom booth categories (CBC) even without purchasing a membership (though buying a membership gives you more advanced options for categories). Creating CBC allows you to group items and lets buyers see your items by those categories. Here’s the HELP page for [URL removed]

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
