So I got an offer and can only select Accept or Deny, is there no way to make a counter offer on Bonanza? I only see a Accept or Deny button?

Hi @Greynape08,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the confusion. Bonanza no longer offers the “counter offer” option. We apologize for any inconvenience. You can accept or deny a buyer’s proposal. Here is a link to a help page with more information regarding receiving [URL removed]

Should you choose to deny an offer, you can leave a note to the buyer with a proposed price. The buyer can resubmit the offer with a different price.
As @Atomicdiner mentioned, all offers include the cost of the item(s), taxes and shipping. The proposed amount is the final price a buyer would pay.
Hope that information helps. Please let us know at our support department if we can be of further assistance.

I have used OBO for years and found it quite successful to be able to counter offer. It kept an open line of communication with the Buyer. By instantly denying an offer, it gives a negative connotation to the sale process and many people will just walk away. People like to feel they are able to negotiate with a Seller to come to a mutually agreed upon price. Please reconsider and continue to allow counter offers for OBO.

“Bonanza no longer offers the ‘counter offer’ option.” Why? It can’t be for increased practicality or functionality.

I agree with every seller here. Counter-offers should not be discouraged. It increases communication & rapport with customers. Yes, you can send a note to send another offer, but now you’re leaving the negotiation in the hands of the customer to re-initiate the process, instead of making it a quick click & accept process. This will ultimately decrease sales. Please re-think this move, dear Bonanza staff!

I just went through an entire mock offer between my booths, and I could not find the counter offer link in either the email or on the invoice. I took screen shots to send to support, but unless support comes to tell us how they updated the offer system….or someone else knows…
You are right, as far as I can tell there is no longer a counter offer link
And after going 7 years, I am turning off OBO, until I can find it….

While I dont use Best Offer myself, I think I remember reading (unless that has changed) that the offer also INCLUDES SHIPPING so be aware of that when you accept your offer (otherwise SURPRISE), you are out the shipping costs too.
