Am I crazy? So my round photo is there with text that says “upload photo” but then there is the gray background which also says “upload photo”. I thought this meant I could add a header photo but every time I try all it does it change my round profile photo.

Hi sewsimpledesigns!
I would also think that you would be able to change the background as there are two different links, but they seem to be to only change the avatar picture as ccmom stated. The background color appears to be associated with the type of membership level a person has. For example, you have a gray background. For Platinum members it is green, for Gold Pro members it appears gold and for Titan members it looks purple.
Hope this helps.

I’ve included what I see for others Profiles as well as when I view my own.

That is just your avatar photo upload…same as it has always been, that shows on your booth page or on you posts here or in the other forums…
Doesn’t change anything else

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
