New booth ebay import translation headaches

I have a store on Ebay that has consumed many hours of time in setup. Now import here has apparently created a opportunity for many more hours of editing to correct the details. Some of my more crucial questions/complaints regarding booth tools and operation [URL removed]

1)Basic HTML formatting on Ebay descriptions do not render the same here. I’ve found the list of allowed properties, etc. and do not have any violations. What gives?

2)The shipping times did not import, so having to re-edit them here. The batch editor seems to not work correctly the first few attempts in applying different shipping “profiles” to different items. I have setup a global booth shipping time (2 days) and a couple of shipping profiles that are only the shipping methods? (not the time) After globally editing some of my custom items to show shipping time of 10 days and applying a profile to them they still show the global 2 day time. Had to go edit them again to change to 10 days. Second time seems to have worked for now, but if I change the profile will that get deleted?

3) Two shipping profiles set up. One with free shipping, no options. One with free economy shipping but with optional (paid) express shipping. Items with second profile do not show in booth with “free shipping” banner. Don’t think that’s fair! Also many of the listings under the information bubble show “free shipping” and a second line of “unspecified free shipping”. Huh?

4) Ebay store categories did not import. Have to set them up again in booth. Bonanza also only allows one category assigned per item.

5) Two item did not import due to having same “title”. They are similar items with the difference being only in the details. Guess Bonanza doesn’t allow multiple similar items with same title – bummer!

6) Looks like most Ebay “Item Specifics” imported to Bonanza “Item Details” section. There’s some similarity and overlap to the Item Traits, but many of those are confusing and wrong. Where the !## does Bonanza get those?? I now have pendants showing “[URL removed] 18 Gauge” which doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. The “Style” trait drop down list (in item editor) only has definitions that might apply to earrings like “pierced cuff” but nothing that is applicable to a pendant or bracelet. The item traits help page doesn’t help this confusion.

7) How many hours of editing can I look forward to fix all this? Beginning to think Bonanza isn’t the slam-dunk solution its advertised as being, ie an"easy" solution to Ebay headaches.

8) So far 24/48-hour response from customer support hasn’t happened in answering my questions. Apologies for the verbose post/rant here!

I’ve just opened my store and booth here and imported nearly all of my eBay listings. So far I haven’t noticed the kinds of issues you had, but I did have a half dozen items NOT import that should have. None of those have the same titles as any other items. Have you resolved the issues that you had?

Are you seeing sales here? I’ve read a number of forum comments/complaints about slow or NO sales. Yes, I’m wanting to move my stuff to Bonanza due to (1) eBay draconian rules; and (2) eBay fees.

I’m fed up with eBay sticking their nose in even in cases where neither I nor the buyer wanted them to, and apparently finding for the buyer by default, except for one instance where I was the buyer and never received my item, but they chose that instance to find in favor of the seller.

I’ve concluded that their people simply are not well trained for what eBay is having them do—intervening in buyer/seller issues.
