So i signed up for bonanza as i have been hearing great things. I signed up and got to the point where i must add a credit card even though i linked my paypal already. I entered all the information on the credit card exactly as it shows cvc and expatriation date match 100%. Its a paypal business card and it declined 5 times in a row contacted paypal they stated there is no attempt from bonanza to verify any information and that my card was not blocked. I tried again and again it failed its driving me nuts because it just says “whoops your information does not match please check your card info and your billing info match” it matches everything matches what else can i do at this point it seems hopeless

Hi @HenryE7,
Thank you for writing and sorry to hear about the trouble. It sounds like when you were trying to authorize your credit card that our system was unable to verify your card. To confirm a sellers identity, our system will do a dummy charge to your account of $0.11. The charge will remain pending for 3 days then fall off of the account. When we see declined errors, it will usually mean that the credit card was entered incorrectly; or, in some cases, a person’s credit card will have a block on authorizing charges under $ 1.00.
Nine times out of ten, the reason for error is if you are entering a different address on Bonanza than the address that was recorded at the time you received your Debit/Credit Card (if a debit card, it will be the address that you had when the debit card was sent to you). Try entering in the address that you used when you got your card and see if that does it. If so, you may want to consider updating that so you can avoid future trouble with that.
The two most common factors to cause the failed credit card are as [URL removed]
1) The credit card billing address MUST match the address in your Bonanza account settings. Even the formatting must be IDENTICAL.
2) the CVV must match exactly.
Be sure that javascript is enabled and allowed and cookies are allowed for Bonanza.com and Braintreepayments.com
Hope that helps! If you have additional questions, or if we can be of further assistance, please let us know at [email protected]. Thank you for your patience, and welcome to the Bonanza community!

- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
