Would u critique my profile and let me know if it covers the basics most ppl wont take the time to read 1 but for them that do im looking to describe me and what drove me to my trains and the selling of them and the type of service they can expect…any comments will be accepted in the good manner they are given thank you..the trainman…
MY PROFILE…well ive always been fascinated with trains..having grown up next to a switching yard in Buffalo NY i was always around trains..i started collecting trains at the age of 11 im now 51 ive got over 225 engines in my personal collection and over 600 pieces of rolling stock…i was always an avid fan of TYCO shame there gone…then i hitched my horse to Mehano Trains and now there gone…all the greats are gone IHC is lost in the wood work yet again…any ways this is about me not poor business management..im single and now i can play with my trains again…lol shoulda stuck to em in the 1st place at least they always brought me happiness…enjoy my page and if u purchased some thing i hope it brings u as much enjoyment as trains have brought me Thanks.. and thank you for visiting The Trainman’s Booth My name is Bear and I am the one who will answer your questions and concerns, negotiate a deal, and package and ship your item. I will also be here for you after the transaction with any issues that may arise.
I enjoy immensely hearing from potential buyers, and welcome the opportunity of earning your business. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Perhaps you would like additional details, such as measurements, or more photos, I am always happy to comply. I understand that purchasing on the internet can be worrisome, well I am pleased to provide as much assurance as needed so that you can buy that RARE/Vintage Hard to find or 1 of a kind train with complete confidence.
All my items are authentic, A lot of my items are whats called New Old stock(NOS) which means it has never been used and in most cases never opened..unless its an engine i will open them so i can track test em and lube em cause something that’s been forgotten on a shelf might need oiling or might no longer function the way it was built to and ill make the necessary repairs to ensure its working as good if not better than when it was originally boxed..ive been fixing an modding trains for 30 yrs , but if it is a previously owned, estate piece, I will state it in the title and description. so with all this said enjoy my booth feel free to buy as much as u want make me an offer and lets see if my trains cant become ur trains…Thanks The Trainman…AKA Bear
If ur interested here’s a link to my layouts and where these items are track tested..>> [URL removed]
Just copy and paste that into ur browser and click search…There’s several different slide shows there from my permanent layouts to the 1 i set up for Xmas every year in my kitchen…thanks for looking hope u like..oh and if u ever need any tech tips feel free to ask after 35 yrs ive got a few

Hi! Interesting hobby you have there! I remember my grandfather (when I was a kid) loved trains and he even had one that we could ride on in the livingroom.
I think your profile is fine. It’s honest and gives people an idea about who they are dealing with and they can see your passion for your hobby and the products you sell.

Just a ‘quirk’ with me – but in your first paragraph you didn’t bother to capitalize the “I’s” so I got lost immediately. I just can’t handle that, so I didn’t read most of the rest of it. Punctuation is of extreme importance when you’re introducing yourself (and in listings). If a person doesn’t take the time to capitalize – punctuate and divide paragraphs, it’s indicates (to me at least) that they might not take the time to service a sale.
Hope I haven’t been too abrupt, but I really think it’s important. Good Luck in your endeavors here on Bonanzle.

- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
