If you are a full-time seller, how many different marketplaces are you currently using?

I myself sell on 9 different sites, with Bonanza being the main. This is not a full time thing exactly as I have a full time job, but, I do this a few hours each night and on weekends. A hobby to fund my hobby and get to know other collectors with the same interests. Been selling online since ’98.

I have 3 booths here, a small vintage children’s books on etsy that is winding down as I am almost out of the books, and my own webstore hosted elsewhere (was opened before bonz offered webstores)…
Also would like to make this the only place…but the books never sold here but do well on etsy and my own webstore picks up what does not sell here also..
Stopped selling on ebay in 2009 and have never listed there afterwards, nor do I buy there either…rather search here or other webstores online..than feed ebay or amazon for that matter…

I have a booth here, and a small shop on Etsy. I will be semi-retiring this fall, and plan to fix up and add to my listings on both sites. Bonanza is a great place to list the items that don’t qualify for Etsy.
Like Cindy, I left eBay in 2008 and never bought or listed there again.

I just closed my Etsy shop. So, I am focusing more on here, working on Poshmark and Mercari. I work Facebook as much as possible. I will start a website soon. Target date is January 2020.

Basically Bonanza is my primary and eBay is occasional for me. I keep backups and occasionally toy with other platforms but nothing other than Bonanza. I have found what I sell does better here than on eBay where it is far more saturated of a market. It is also much easier to build customer loyalty here with the tools Bonanza offers on customer marketing campaigns and coupons sent to customers who leave feedback.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
