Lots of exciting view stats. I believe them to be “bots” and not actual people. If they were real people how could I not sale one item? Also the chat is on and I have never received any messages on it. It would seem to me that one person out of the bunch would have at least chatted a line. Could someone explain this to me as I believe the views are not people traffic at all. “Bots can’t buy” but they can travel so that’s my personal answer. Thanks so much for any help that anybody could enlighten me on this. Have a great week and best of sales in your shops.

I cannot speak about the bots as it has been a while since I was on here up until recently. But I can give my experience on the chat box from when I was on here for 6 years prior to this. Not many viewers (other than sellers) comment in the chat box at all (again, my own experience). In all the sales that I had on Bonanza, I may have had only a handful of people post in my chat box. I’m not sure why other than that people are not used to a site having a chat box….it’s the only thing I can think of that makes sense.

Most selling venues have bot views and just like on any selling venue, it’s not really the views that matter, it’s the sales. As to the chat box, most buyers don’t use the chat box to make inquiries….most will send a message/email.

Leaving Bonanza….only had 18 sales since Dec. 6. There’s no way to promote my items other than outside social media which stinks too. Why am I paying to be here when Bonanza does not promote, either externally or internally? I did over 22000 in sales on Etsy last year and barely 150 so far for this year on Bonanza. What’s that tell you? Stop spending your money here on an over-priced non-advertising booth.

I like the fact that I pay nothing but the 9% , just wish that I had reason and was fortunate enough to have to pay 9% on a regular basis. I like the fact there are not listing fees and renewal fees. I shall keep self promoting as I have in the past. Nothing to lose that way.
