Put pointer on “sell on Bonanza” (top left of the screen)
Click on “Update items as a group”
Choose “Item Basics”
On the far right you will see where to put in the categories

Edit Booth Options
Categories and Sorting
Create Your own Categories (click on yes)…if this is not set to yes, the option to categorize does not appear….

Categorize Your Items

Automatic or Manual

You choose Automatic then the words of your categories have to be in either title or description somewhere, so that the auto sort can find it and place items

Or Manual
You choose to place the items in the categories in the Batch Edit (update items as a group)…

Set a Category

A2z was correct, you just had to click on Set the category, select the items and choose the category..Apply Changes to selected items

The other obvious answer would be to use the main bonanza categories, since they are the ones that go to google and most of the buyers who come from google, will never see your booth categories anyway…until you can get the hang of setting a up booth again…

And always scroll down to “Save all my changes”

I sent reply. Don’t know if received it. I already have categories set up. Ineed to know how toget each item listed under those categories. You think I want to create a category. I don’t. I wantto put necklace under “sterling pendant/necklace”-that’s all.When I add a new item there is nothing on the form at all that allows me once listed to put it into category. Here is a detailed version of how to make sure your personal categories is turned on and how to find the choose your categories in your item editor. Please write back if you still can’t find it…

Some of this you already know, thought it good to start from the beginning to make sure the following is set up. So that when you go into edit your item, you should be able to choose your personal booth categories. Also, if anyone else is having trouble, they can follow step by step too.

1. At the top of your booth page, pull down “My Bonanza” arrow and click on “Edit Account Settings.”

2. The new page will show Option categories on the left. Scroll down to the one that says “My Booth.” Click on Edit Booth Options. The page you are in now should show two rows of options near the top… The first row will now have a tab highlighted, “Edit Booth Options.”

3. The second row all the way to the right will have a link that says, “Categories and Sorting.” Click on that Option. Make sure of the [URL removed]
A. Create your own Booth Options is marked “Yes.”
B. Categorize your items is marked “Manual.”

NOW, go to that top row and click on the first [URL removed] “Add or Edit Items.”
Hover your mouse over an item and choose edit..

Once in the editor, scroll down to item details.
There should be two columns under a large Option “thingy” that shows your Bonanza Category chosen.

The first item in the left hand column should say “Edit Booth Categories.”

Use the pull down menu to choose one of your personal categories and click save.
