This was probably asked already but I can not find the question or an answer.
I have several collectibles in my booth. When listing a collectible, one of the attributes is a GTIN (UPC). Most collectibles from the 70’s or earlier do not have this. Without it, Google doesn’t recognize it and it doesn’t get submitted.
Well, at least that’s how I understand it.
I’ve tried different catagories to try to get around this but it doesn’t always work.
What do we do about items that do not have GTIN or UPC’s?

If you check your search optimize in batch edit..you will see
[[identifier_[URL removed] was added because this item does not include the gtin attribute
The identifier_[URL removed] is acceptable to google for any item that does not have an upc/gtin or one of the other attributes…HOWEVER, if the identifier does exist and you try to use the false statement this can get the feed suspended…
The rule is more enforced for new mechandise…brand/upc(gtin)/mpn/isbn has to be included

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
