Possible stupid question ( ;) )-I notice, in the views counts, that sometimes items that have already sold will show that someone has viewed them. How is this happening?
Good Sunday morning, and thanks in advance!

1. People search for an item and then click on the box that says “Sold in the last year” and might check on it
2. Any item that was tweeted, pinned or facebooked, the link is still on the internet and someone may click on it
3. Someone who checked Feedback may click on link to see what was purchased
4. It takes a while for items purchased to fall from the search/indexing programs and may still be in google, bing, yahoo or any other place that brings up results from searches
There are probably more ways also

Stats are for Item view counts -—————-sold items and -———search crawler activity.
Where the dashes are (in my less than artistic example )is where you have an option to include or not include sold items and search crawler activity. Just switch it to “do not include” if it is a distraction for you :-)

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
