I had over 300 listings sold in December, not one single misread description. About 40 listings sold in the last week, and 3 misread descriptions.
Something is wrong with this change, and it is going to hurt all sellers.
This is a very bad move in my opinion. The item details and traits are now at the bottom of the pages. I’ve only had 9 customers in a year who failed to see the condition of something they purchased until afterward. This week alone, I’ve had 3 customers who didn’t see it, one of whom was very upset. At this rate I will have 150 complaints this year. While the first line of my descriptions still say the condition, that is not the same.
What are your thoughts on the change?

I personally do not see anything wrong with the new page, I actually like it much better. I have had more sales it seems like since the new page was put up….Many buyers now don’t read anything, I sell on other sites and its the same on every site. I could spell it out in the first paragraph, yet they will still ask…This is just what is happening… all they have to do is scroll down just a touch further to see it. I usually put all my important info in the first paragraph anyway and hope the buyer will actually read the whole description.

Anything that takes away the immediate visibility of necessary details is detrimental to the buying experience. As a seller I am definitely not in favor of this change, but then again I sell very little on Bonanza, so probably will make very little difference to my sales here.
As of late, more & more selling venues seem to be “hiding” descriptions and other pertinent valuable information and this has done nothing but create tons of confusion for buyers. For sellers, there is nothing positive about these kinds of changes.
