Instead of going through to each item and editing the description (say you want all descriptions of similar items to be written the same way).

no..
there is an add text or replace text, but replace you have to have the exact same formatting and text or the program cannot find it…so if every item has different wording then no…you cannot…
the other option would be to delete all text then use the Add text option..
Recommendation…don’t…it may cause more problems than it’s worth..
but
Update Items
Click on
Text Editing
select an item and experiment..you may find a way that works for you..

To answer my own question. I’ve figured out the way to do this is to click “edit booth options” at the top of the booth page, then click “update items as a group” also at the top, then select the “text” button to the side and also the “replace text to all selected” button to the upper right of the text editing fields.
[URL removed] Actually this is not correct and will not work, as noted by the answer above.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
