Oops, sorry Halloween lovers (I do like Halloween, too). Just ready to move on to Christmas sales. I hope it is a good one this year on the marketplaces. Last year I was pleased overall. In researching last year, it looks like Christmas sales should pick up around the end of the first week of November.
What about you? What do you see?

Hoping you are correct with this, looking back at my sales from last year mine show about the same. I do know from August until now have been very slow here, not sure what caused it other than of course everything is more expensive and people are not spending on frugal items. Good luck to you!

Sounds about right, from previous years
…Even though I hated shutting down last year and missing the bulk of Christmas sales…we did have a great 3 weeks at Disney World and Universal last year.

Sorry, Sharon, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. I saw this comment in an article on CBC News last week, about the Canadian economy.
“The United States, the biggest economy in dollar terms, had frightening news of its own as an unexpected slump in retail sales demonstrated that country’s economic superstar, the consumer, may be about to walk offstage.”

I don’t know where you read that, BookbinEtc, but thankfully that’s fake news. US Consumer spending reached an all-time high the 2nd quarter of 2019.
“Consumer Spending in the United States increased to 13253.38 USD Billion in the second quarter of 2019 from 13103.32 USD Billion in the first quarter of 2019. Consumer Spending in the United States averaged 5845.98 USD Billion from 1950 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 13253.38 USD Billion in the second quarter of 2019 and a record low of 1403.69 USD Billion in the first quarter of 1950.”
