I found this little book looking thru my inventory and was wondering if anyone knows something about it. It is small but has 448 pages. It’s in another langauge which I can’t make out, but on the cover it has “Aniol Stroz” it looks like it was published around 1889.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It might be a Catholic book in Polish as others suggested and perhaps a prayer book or Mass book.
I found some on addall,(www.addall.com) alibris (www.alibris.com) and biblio (www.biblio.com) and others with different years, not the same amount of pages though.
Does it say Jozefa Krosninskiego or Ks. Piotr Gajewski, M.S.F, orStern, August?
Are there religious images of any kind?
Any words like this?

Aniol Stroz means Guardian Angel and I believe Google said it was Polish. I’m not good with foreign languages but I’ll let you know if I find any more info.

Guardian Angel Religion Must Have something to do with prayers. Google I found tapestry of a time perhaps around the year you are speaking of, yes in a different language. How interesting.
