I do not have the UPC or MPN codes, and without that, the products do go active. How can I start selling without it

I use this website ( [URL removed] ) and others like it (search Google for “upc lookup”) to find upc codes.

Not all items have to have upc/mpn (vintage, pre upc era items, used, handmade and some fashion items) and there is an entry that the site adds to the feeds when the information is missing

However, if the item is new and the upc/mpn exist it would be advisable to search the internet to find the information.

The information is not necessary to start selling, but is highly advised to be listed in google product search (not needed for normal (organic) google searches).

Like tomwayne1, I also use a different UPC code site [URL removed]

While this is primarily for the google monster to digest for their search, seems what I have does not make any difference if I find a UPC as I have not had a sale here in MONTHS (Yet if I move some of my items over into the auction site, they seem to sell within a week). SUM-TING-WONG here it seems. I do not pay for advertising here but items should still be found in google.
