I am selling an used item and i have not the usp, mpn codes, the item was bought 11 years ago.

I have the serie number.
So it says that if the item is used, this codes aren’t needed. It is the only think that is blocking me to complete.

Serial numbers are useless when it comes to search engines, since it is unique to the one particular item you have. However, UPC, isbn, EAN, JAN codes (all know as GTIN and commonly referred to as “bar codes”) are what search engines sometimes incorporate into the process of searching for products.

Even though used items typically are not required to have some type of GTIN value entered when listing them, you should always include them IF you can find the actual code. If the item IS new, then it needs to have a GTIN value AND either a brand or MPN (manufacturer part number) entered.

Any item that gets rejected by Google for placement in Google Shopping database will still show up in regular Google searches (referred to as “organic” search results.
