I found this game in the attic with other items from the 1920-30’s. It is a slanted board about 11″×13″ with holes that have numbers below them (for points 15, 25, 50, 75 & 100). It has a veneer that is starting to split and I’d like to preserve it. Any suggestions? Does anyone know anything about this game? Where or when it was made, there aren’t any markings on it, but it isn’t home made.

As a general rule, you do not want to do anything to “repair” or “fix” vintage items like that. The vast majority of items that are inexpertly fixed or “restored” actually come out with less value than when they started. I have seen the game you are referring to in the past, but could not give you an idea of its current value, but they are fun, and there is definitely a collector market for them.
