I am selling custom size clothes to clients. I am facing problems, how to get cell number to call the client and confirm sizes details. I did not find any option here. In the messages, mostly client did not reply. Kindly give me your suggestion about this problem. I will really appreciate it.

Many customers will not respond to messages and don’t provide a cell number – some people only check email infrequently. I suggest listing your items with variations, so the customer has to select their size option at the time of purchase. Then in your listing description, you should state that in order to fully customize the clothing size you will be reaching out to the customer for sizing details. And give a timeline for them to respond, after which you will send the item with the default size selected. If you clearly spell that out in your listing, then a customer cannot ding you for not sending them the correct sizing.

I don’t believe there is any way to do that except for the customer giving it to you willingly if you contact them. Most people are very hesitant to give out their cell numbers especially to strangers. You might try asking them to contact you if you need information from them and telling them why you need to speak to them. Wishing you lots of sales!

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
