The biggest thing to keep in mind here is you have to be very hands on. You must do most of your own advertising, constant adding of new products, updates to photos & blurbs, self promotion thru social media etc., etc. Also, it takes time to build up your presence thru Google. Another thing to also consider is at this moment you have 4 items listed, you definitely want to continue to add more as most customers want a large selection. The great thing about Bonanza is the low cost…the bad thing is that for some reason they are just not well known, which is a shame as it is a great marketplace. Good luck to you!

I haven’t had a sale since January 2018. I sold 5 things total in 2018, 21 items in 2017. This is a very, very slow site. I cross post between this one and other selling websites, I feel like I’m just listing to delete it because it was sold on another site.
I know there are remarks out there to get the paid membership for more views, but with the lack of sales I can’t afford the monthly fees. And with reading up on other posts, it seems like even paid memberships have fewer sales.
I would like to know what Bonanza is doing in regards to getting more site activity so people can sell items faster, or at all.

It took me about 4 years to get really wound up. I did not spend a lot of time on this site just let it run on its own. I did go thru the process of getting th items I have listed on eBay coordinated with Bonanza. How ever about the time my sales started to go up I decided to close down. But I do not think you can go wrong if you are computer smart (which I am not).

Hello,
I just took a look at your booth. You are selling beautiful stuff, but the price is to high to buy. I would recommend you should adjust the price lower if possible. And then try to use social like Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest to attract customer, audiences.
Best regards.

There are several factors holding back your sales. Your items are very unique so only interest a small percentage of shoppers… and expensive. I don’t think people shopping for those items would normally look here, UNLESS they are led here by a Google search or via a specific group interested in such items.
Also, your items are imported and take awhile to arrive. If I was in the market for ikat (which I’d never heard of before today) I’d maybe see your items here, but then search to find the same thing in a USA market like NYC or SanFrancisco, etc., so I could get it faster.
Maybe some smaller, less expensive ikat items would sell better. Are there placemats or floor mats, totes?
Good luck.

Good luck. Sales are few and far between on here. You have to do your own advertising on your social media sites just to generate any traffic. I had over 1,000 items listed here, but moved just about everything to another site where sales are great. When I went over a year without a sale, that’s when I knew to bail.

- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
