How long before new listings start seeing traffic?

I have several listings that get significant traffic on Etsy, but after two days, my stats show Zero (0) views. And I set my advertising level to the absolute highest (up to 30%). I’ve completed most of the Seller Checklist.

I don’t sell your types of items so I will just mention things that jump out at me that might help. First you have your titles stuffed with keywords rather than speaking to that particular item. Also Google does not allow punctuation or other characters in your titles (i.e. commas, space markers etc). Buyers have to look for your descriptions. And in each item you reference Etsy in the descriptions. Also your listings direct people to Walmart to get more information. You really should get a lot more items listed before you start out with the highest ad budget of 30%. That won’t help if you’re violating Google rules because nobody will see them. I don’t know if your type of items have any UPC codes but Google wants them for sure. I think there are generic ways to enter something in those spaces but don’t use “no”. Google gods will frown lol. I would suggest starting with the lowest percentage (9%)until you have more items and create some awareness for your booth but want some features available to you with a paid subscription, Your pictures are nice so why send people elsewhere after they have seen your nice photos? A lot of people recommend social media and Bonanza makes posting to other medias very easy with the click of a button. But I would say start with fine tuning your titles for sure, making your descriptions visible without having to go to a different link and I’m a believer that you NEVER send a buyer to a different seller. As your booth grows and really builds up the reason people should buy your products then consider upping your membership and ad percentage. It does not happen fast and it is a lot of work but will pay off in the long run. Highlight the reason every item is special and people should buy it from you because “…..”. And lastly too many pictures can be distracting and confusing. Use a few pictures that makes the item look really special rather than a picture for all the sizes etc. If there are a few colors of an item show a picture of each color and use the listing form to add sizes and colors. And descriptions to tell people what makes each color special etc. You will get lots of help from people here and don’t set your expectations too high. You just got here. This is not Etsy or eBay it is Bonanza so don’t expect the same results from each selling venue. Let your buyers know that you are here now and invite them to visit you. Your products are nice and should sell with some fine tuning. Good luck with your sales- I know you will like it here. It is easy and cost efficient and everyone is always happy to answer questions. Do some looking around and get some ideas from others for the best way to present your listings but still stay price competitive. And don’t compete with yourself. People are always looking for the best buy from the best sellers. If you sell the same products on different venues and the prices are less on those others people will buy there, not here. I think you’re going to do real well!

My listings direct people to Walmart and that is a Bonanza thing. I would never direct someone to another site. I think you have to have a membership to get rid of the Walmart thing. Sad

Since you are selling on Bonanza, will you pleaase stop referring to RETST in your descriptions. Makes you look like you don’t know where your are, or how serious you ae about selling.

Sorry for the misspelling my fingers wored faster than my brain! ETST

Did it again! ETSY is what you keep saying in your listings. This is Bonanza.

I always price my items the same throughout the web. Too confusing to keep track of!

Unlike other platforms…most traffic comes from google product search (Google shopping) or social media…

at 30% means bonz will have to make ads, and send them to various places…views will come once the ads have been placed and clicked on…(this might take longer than 2 days)..I keep mine at 9% for google shopping and keep my social media going day and night

if you have twitter, FB buisness page, pinterest or other social media..start placing links back to your booth…

I also have items on Etsy..that see significant more traffic than they do here (or even at my web store) for those items…or anywhere else for that matter…some things just work better at Etsy

Good Luck and Welcome to Bonanza

I agree with ccmom. Just about 99.9% of sales for me come from Google shopping. 9% FVF is a very good rule of thumb. Yes, some things do better on Etsy just like on eBay and I have some things that do better here than on eBay but cannot list these types of items on Etsy because they are not vintage or handmade.

For me, the best place to list and have my listings have a better chance of showing up in Google shopping is on Bonanza (other than when I had my own webstore). Bonanza is user-friendly when it comes to Google shopping. Just my opinion.

For the listings that have the word Etsy in your descriptions, I suggest to remove it :)

Good luck!!
