I followed your instructions. And under ebay status I get “pending ebay account set up”. Only problem is I have my account set up and I was advertising on ebay. Then I cancelled my paid membership and then all my problems started. That is the reason I thought it was connected to whether you had a paid membership or not.
Anyway I have dashed off an email to support about this.
Support got back and they have corrected the problem.
