Check if any spy apps that track sim-card location ([URL removed] are installed on your phone. They can block the ability to activate your phone as they want to get your data first. And there may be conflict in general. You should better check and try again. Also, it will be good to check your devices for viruses, malware, and spyware. I mean PC, laptop, and phone of course.

This might be a stupid question, but I see all these verification pictures of people taking a photo of themselves with a piece of paper with their username and the date. What are they for and why are they important?

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
