I would prefer to ship to just the continental US, not Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or any other US territories or APO. How do I set this up?

As stated by ccmom, there’s no way to limit shipping to just continental US. I am just here to say, YES, this is a big problem, especially if you’d like to offer “free shipping”.
Also, if you use the USPS Priority Regional Rate Boxes… which are priced only by zone, not weight. (They do have a weight limit.) They ship for a reasonable rate and at a lot less than Priority or Priority Flat Rate boxes, UNTIL you get to zone 9 where the cost to ship increases considerably. For me in FL that is AK, HI, PR, etc.

As far as I know..unless things have changed..you cannot limit shipping areas in US
You will have to state it in the listing and if someone purchases, then you can refund..
I have not problem shipping to AL, HI or the territories, though most of my items go USPS FC
