I’m not 100% sure what “subcategories” you are talking about, but there is a big difference between main ITEM categories (and all of the subcategories that go with them) and what are BOOTH categories (aka “custom” categories) that allow you to organize your booth.
For instance, you might have listed a DVD movie. The main category for that would [URL removed] DVDs & Movies > DVD, HD DVD & Blu-ray. A VHS tape would be in a different [URL removed] DVDs & Movies > VHS tapes.
However, I can create a custom BOOTH category called MOVIES and place both formats into that booth category. Also, within that custom booth category, I can also create a custom subcategory and separate my movies into DVDs, VHS tapes, or any other film type that I might sell.
Bonanza has no idea what your custom booth categories are going to be. It can only do a one-for-one match with eBay’s main categories.
Hope that helps.

Yes, it seems You have only categories in Your shop. Maybe, while trying to add subcategories, by mistake, You haven’t actually created any and added them all as booth’s main categories?
Please, check here https://www.bonanza.com/booths/TableTops/edit_categories, how it looks.
If it has been set properly, subcategories would be nested under category and a little bit to the right. Here is my page view to [URL removed]
![URL removed]
Your items show only in All Staff, which means, You haven’t added them to any of Your existing booth’s categories (they are empty at this moment).
For example, You have 3 “Avon” items in the booth, but they are not in the ‘Avon’ [URL removed]

First You need to manage Your categories and subcategories.
Use B. tip [URL removed] “To create sub-categories, drag a category below and to the right of another category. By dragging categories like this, you can create a tree of your custom categories. If you want to raise a category up a level in your tree, drag it to the left.”
When it’s ready, go to Your batch edit page www.bonanza.com/booths/TableTops/batch_edit
to choose groups of items from the list (using search box and filters will make it quicker and easier) and add them to the correct category (Selling → Batch edit items → Items basic → Set custom booth category), see nr 2 on the picture [URL removed]
![URL removed]
Nr 1 shows, where Bonanza’s main category of the item can be easily changed, if needed (this small pencil icon appears, when You hover over the category name).
Always remember to save by clicking on the green big button Apply changes and later to update Your booth on Your Add or edit items page https://www.bonanza.com/booths/TableTops/edit
Welcome to Bonanza and good luck!

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
