I have had my shop on vacation since my son was born 2 years ago. Now, I’m really trying to make a go of working from home in earnest. So, I logged on and tried to reactivate only to find that there is now an annual fee. Since I NEVER sold ANYTHING here EVER, though I’ve been successful on Etsy…I’m gonna just close up shop here permanently. But I can’t figure out how.

You can still sell on Bonanza by paying only a 3% FVF on your transactions (more on that later). Paying a monthly fee to get a monthly membership (Starter, Gold, Platinum, etc.) does get you extra features and benefits. However, that is OPTIONAL. Most sellers wait until they accumulate some sales and have a lot of items in their booth before purchasing a membership.
I would suggest advertising your items to get them into Google Products (Google Shopping). Most buyers will find you by doing a Google search for items. Being in Google’s database will allow buyers to find you, click your item and end up browsing/buying your item. Advertising on Bonanza will cost you at least 9% in fees instead of the 3%. As stated above the membership is not necessary to sell on bonanza it just offer more options . I would simply leave your products up and check a couple times a month see if you made any sales . It cant hurt to have your products on multiple venues especially if its free .

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
