Hippy or hippie? and more!

I have 2 ?’s.

1. On listing items I see Hippy? Not sure if I have ever seen it spelled like this generally.

Normally I see Hippie? Will this make a difference in search and/or should I add both names to the listing in the description perhaps? Even choosing a tag for this only hippy came up.

2. I have over 215 items and adding much more. I am seeing traffic some as just now starting building shop basically. There are though 5 or so of my oldest items showing consistently as most popular. Quite annoying it is not changing. Should I hide these for a bit to see if this changes?

Thanks for any help.

I only would use Hippy (spelled that way) as in the Hippy-Dippy Weatherman. And you can take that from an old Hippie… Yay, Woodstock 50 coming up soon. Rock On.

If it were me I would use both hippy and hippie in the title – that way no matter what the buyer types in he will find you.

An easy way to rotate the items to the top of the popularity display page is to tweet the listings that you want to show first – they will then be the most popular as they will get more bot views.

Use both spellings in the description, but pick the most prevalent spelling for the title if you’re out of title space. Otherwise, use both in the titles if it is possible,

Thank you all. Will try to put both words into my title. Definitely picks up Hippy and not Hippie at all so I had to add Hippy. Good to know if you are looking for Mod stuff.

On the top listings that is what I do not understand. My newer items should show more.
Possibly these top 5 that continuously show someone else pinned them somewhere or something.
I may try to hide them for a bit to see if anything else changed.

I always thought it was hippy but I guess it could also be hippie. Sort of like gray and grey in which I finally just had to decide on one because it drove me nuts and now just use gray.

Till now, never realized there was 2 spellings of GRAY. I guess an old Hippie can still learn something every day.
