Does anyone who wants to open a store here have to purchase a store membership? I am asking because I have new people tell me they won’t open their store here once they come in to set up because they have to pay to have a store here. Is this true?
And, if this is not true and they can start with a free store set up here, you must need to make that more known to them when they look things over where you sign up in that area, as they are leaving the site because of this and Bonanza is losing new member sellers because of it.

I think terminology between store and booth is getting confused. A booth is free except for the level of final value fee you pay when a item sells and there is a cost for a store. And, it is my understand that even if you opt to have a store, you will also still have the free booth Hopefully, this link will help you understand the difference https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/seller_success/booth_vs_webstore

Hi [URL removed]
Everyone starts with a free Bonanza booth, and purchasing a webstore account is not necessary to sell here. If it was, I wouldn’t be able to be here. I did have to do some reading and info gathering to understand that when I joined. It seemed that I’d have to buy a subscription, but I believed I could have a free shop here, so I kept searching until I found out for sure.

You do not need to purchase a membership to have a booth, Bonanza must have the membership options very visible. And people are often too distracted to read the fine print.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
