Has anybody found out how to import variations (size/color)?

We imported from our Amazon store thinking that this would be awesome! But. No. Every item came in as it’s own listing. We have 157 listings, but over 1000s of variations. I looked over the CSV importer but doesn’t seem like it is compatible with parent/child or main parent associations like Amazon or Wal-Mart.

Seems like we will have to delete all of our items and upload individually at this point to accomplish this, but just wanted to ask first just in case anyone else can shed some light on this.

We would leave it, but it didn’t even import size/color information so we just have 36 different listings of the same item. The only way we can tell if it is a different item is by the SKU but customers can not see this information, let alone would we expect them to understand how our SKU key is formed!

Sorry to hear of the troubles @Custom_City_Ink!

The reason why your variation listings from Amazon were originally imported as non-variation listings is because Amazon limits our importing ability by not allowing us to capture the variation data. The alternative method for properly importing your Amazon variation listings is to unlink the current Amazon import, and instead, export a CSV file from Amazon and import it to Bonanza that way. You will need to format the file, with variations, to match Bonanza. It is also best to delete all of the imported listings you have so that you can start clean before doing the CSV import. Here is a very helpful page that explains how to import CSV files.
