Has anyone used social media influencers?

Hi. I’m new to Bonanza and struggling to get my first few sales, even though I’ve selected the option for my products to be advertised in Google Shopping. I’m not even getting views.
I was wondering if anyone’s payed social media influencers to promote their products. And if so, did you get sales from it? How expensive was it?

I tweeted a few items for you..

I looked for some things in google shopping and could not find your items..

Go [URL removed]
Seller Dashboard
Booth Settings
Advertising

To start click on _Basic_* (9% maximum fee..this will be your FVF and you only pay for it if the items sell)

This will get your items in google shopping and make sure you check

Google Shopping
Bonanza Promotions
Bonanaza Affiliates

there are other options for a higher FVF.

Also as a suggestion..your titles are nothing but keywords and not an actual title of the listing.

Make a title
Then write a short description using some of the key words in the first 180 or characters..

example
this is your title

Cat Mug, Coffee Mug, Tea Mug, Cat Mom, Cat Dad, Mug Gift, Cat Lover, Paw, Red

change to

Coffee Tea Mug “I like Cats” 11oz red white capacity cup

“I like cats” mug is sure to bring a smile on your face every time you use it." Made for all cat lovers, mom, dad. The 11oz mug red and white with a kitty paw on the side..

Or something of that nature..all your key words will be in the short description sent in google feed and not in title.

To check on your google feed to see if there are any problems preventing your items going to google

Go to Selling Dashboard

Reports
Click on Ad Troubleshooter

There will be a list of problems to fix, if there are issues with your feed

If there are no issues click on Refresh your Feed

and then check back to see if there are any problems later

I also see that you have only been here about 10 days…will take some time to establish your booth…bonanza is not like ebay/amazon..people do not generally come here to browse and you will have to depend on google shopping or any social media links (twitter, pinterest, facebook..etc) to bring business to your booth..

IF you have a twitter account..use the share button in your listings to send the items to twitter
Create a Facebook business page and again use the share button and send your items to FB..

Good Luck and Welcome to bonanza

Keep in mind, on Bonanza, you must do 80% of your advertising yourself thru various social media sites, cross promotions etc. etc. At the 9% level you are put into Google, but as with any other site you gotta work your way up that ladder. Bonanza is a fantastic site if you have more time to put into your business. For me I like it as it keeps me constantly adding new items, fixing photos, blurbs etc. I cross promote thru my 5 other stores as well. Also, keep in mind this time of year is slow across all online locations, and with all the craziness happening it is also affecting it. This will be a crazy year and it is very hard to forecast how the upcoming holidays will turn out. I can say however that I have been getting sales here, I am actually up a bit from last year so there are buyers out there. Good luck to you!

One time I did make a sale this way directly from a seller who promoted my listings. It’s not to say that the promoting did not get my listings a higher placement in, say, Google.com and at a later date did I maybe reap some rewards from it. For example, a promoter who does pinning to a board…someone sees the board long after the promoting is done.

Try Jd’s Gift Shack. She has got a lot of followers in social media and has different packages to choose from I’ve purchased from her in the past.

[URL removed] Make sure your titles are as you want them to be before promoting because I think if the titles change, then their URL changes….

@ccmom

Thanks for the warm welcome.

My titles are key words because I’ve noticed that the SEO is better.

I did get a few views today, so hopefully that’s a good sign.

I checked Ad Troubleshooter. There weren’t any problem, but I clicked Refresh Your Feed anyway.

I’m not a fan of social media promotion. I’ve had a Society6 store for almost 2 years and 8 months. I spent an entire year posting on Pinterest 4-5-7 days per week and joining groups, and, well, I never got any sales from it. The only sales I got were from people who searched for products on Society6.
I am considering posting some of my designs on Pinterest, but it’s definitely not something worth investing a lot of time into, in my experience.

I’ve actually heard from a lot of people that eCommerce has been booming during this pandemic. And not just shops, but also things like law firms and accounting firms that didn’t have an online presence have suffered a lot, but those that did business online continued to have success.

You could experiment using a title similar to what ccmom gave while at the same time keeping some listing titles as you have. While the SEO may be good for Google organic ? Does not mean it is good for Google shopping.Best of luck.

I have not found much success with pinterest, most of mine comes from FB business page and twitter
