I’ve been getting items disapproved buy google shopping lately and from the forums I think it’s because my images are too small. I’ve tried uploading the images again but they are still under 200 pixels in size. The original images on my computer are all over 2500 pixels in size.
First question, Is disapprove a real word?
Is the image size why Google is disapproving my listings?
If this is the problem then how do I change the size of my images?
I’ve contacted support and if nobody can answer me before they do I’ll post the answer so everyone can see it.
Thank you,
Steve

Hi @steveonmars,
Thanks for your post and so sorry for your trouble with Google Shopping. @tomwayne1 provided some really helpful information about resizing your images and Google Shopping’s requirements. We did check on your support request and see that an agent was able to get in touch with you recently. Hopefully we can get the issue resolved for you via that communication channel.
Thanks again for your post and feel free to send us a follow up email at [email protected] if you are still needing assistance!

3. Use any graphics program (there are some online) to re-size your image to the required minimum requirements. Keep the image resolution at 72 pixels/inch. Anything higher than that is a waste since online images do not have to have much higher resolution to be viewed (printing images does require much higher resolution to print with good detail).
Good luck.

My original images are all well over 2500 pixels per side, it’s only on the Bonanza listings that they are showing up as under 200 pixels per side. Every other site I sell on has the images over 250 pixels per side which is what Google requires.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
