Google shopping picky about restricted products/words

I’ve got about 4 listings where they mention flowers and one of those had the word leaf in it. It’s a pattern description for some china and casserole dishes.

So Google must be restricting listings that have the word flowers in the titles or maybe anything garden/plant related?

Here they [URL removed]

(this last link if the one where I removed the word leaf. So, do you think that Google shopping is getting picky about titles that include mention of plants maybe?

Now here is a listing that had showed up in GS before. Now it shows as restricted but there are others in GS. I removed the word tool but see that the ones in GS do include the word tool. For the life of me I cannot see why it would be restricted.

That’s about it in restricted listings that I have other than for two listings that have the words spoon and fork in it and the other only has the word spoon. So it seems GS has gotten picky about titles that include silverware words, too?

I did use the words vintage fork utensils and quite a few of those listings came up in GS, so maybe I need to include the word utensils in the title.

Here are the two listings for [URL removed]

In looking at these two listings above, they do include the words that have to do with food, so hmmm. Not sure. The same thing with these words though is that a lot come up in Google shopping.

A search of the internet does not offer much in the way of GS restricted products/words.

also restricting any title with the word “fossil” or “fossilized” as spam – go figure!

Don’t know the exact messege you got..but to me..it looks more like it would be rejected due to keyword spamming…I know that once we used lots of keywords in titles, but I think it is not what google wants anymore

as to weight watchers things…may be trademark problem

Thanks you all. FrogandBear, that must stink for you. I imagine you really need to be able to use the word fossil/fossilized since you deal with lots of jewelry.

Honestly,i dont even bother with google any longer, in my opinion, they only want big names on the site and are trying to push out the little sellers.

I agree with you about the big box stores. The big box stores are also honing in on eBay some. Hanes, Vera Bradley among others. On this last note, hopefully this will be good for Bonanza one day..
