Hello.
A shopper made a purchase after making a search on Bonanza and went to my listing.
Are we now being charged 9 percent no matter what?
I have my advertising percentage set to 9 percent.
The reason I know that it was direct is because under my booth stats and sold items, I see one that says direct.
Thanks,
Sharon

I think they will change you 9% because the logic is that you made this sale through them / their marketplace and that you wouldn’t have made it otherwise, so you owe them the 9%.

Thank you for the clarification, Cindy….. and others for your comments.
I guess we will not be charged over 9 percent with a sale directly from a Bonanza site wide search? Like say if someone has their advertising percentage set above 9 percent, it will never be over 9 percent with this example ?

I have had a couple of 3.5% sales this month, so it seems that level still exists. I do not know where those customers came from (whether an internal Bonanza search or via a direct link). I do use the “free referral” links when I post on social or on my websites.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
