Clickable links on ebay to bonanza

Hello.

I accidentally left a link in one of my listings on eBay for a “like” item I have for sale here on Bonanza. When I saw this I clicked on the link in my eBay listing and was surprised to see that it did click over here onto Bonanza. I always thought I remembered eBay stopping this a long time ago so that links in their listings were not clickable to the outside.

For those of you who sell on eBay, is this something eBay changed?

If so it would be super cool.

Interesting. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure it’s against the eBay terms of service, no?

I too think this is the case. They dont want to give email addresses out so you can take sales offsite now (yet I do see some sellers there have contact phone#s. You probably have not been caught yet.

That is what I thought, too. For some reason the link was active (clickable) to a listing I have here on Bonanza. I took the link out right away when I noticed it. It’s just weird how the link was clickable.

Too bad though right. This would surely help boost sales lol.
