Has somebody tried to change an e-mail address recently?
How long did it take to receive the automatic message to confirm this change in the new e-mail address?
Although on the top of the page there is this [URL removed]
“Just letting you know…
Your account was successfully updated!”
but under the previous address is this [URL removed]
(pending change to …@…, check your inbox for message to complete the change)
and I still don’t have any message from B. in the new mail box.

I changed mine yesterday. It was all instant. I got the email to confirm the change (sent to the new address), clicked on it and it was done. Perhaps you did a typo?

Thank you, ccmom and amcamari, for your answers.
Finally, I’ve found the confirmation mail…, but not in ‘received’, where such mails always appear, but in ‘offers’!, which I never check.
It’s the first time, that this kind of mail was added by Google to this box.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
