Can we as buyer leave negative feedback for buyers?

I am currently going through a scam case from a buyer that claims that they have been in contact with me and returned an item to me that they purchased on bonanza over a month ago. They have neither been in contact with me nor have they returned a single thing, and can’t provide a tracking number. I know with other sites that you cant as a seller leave negative feedback, I’m wondering if I am able to leave a negative feedback so others can be aware of this buyer.

Use Paypal as your sole proxy for doing business online. Then a buyer may either appeal to Paypal or their CC bank. Either way, Paypal is then the sole arbiter and their seller protection is second to none.

You can leave the buyer a feedback rating from ONE to FIVE stars and also leave a comment. But, be careful of what/how you describe the transaction. You don’t want to end up in court by making false accusations.

As far as you being scammed by the buyer, if the buyer can’t prove that the item was returned by providing a tracking number showing return delivery, then you have nothing to worry about. Of course, this only applies if YOU can prove delivery to the buyer by having your own tracking number showing that the item was initially delivered to the buyer. Selling platforms can only deal with proof of delivery on both sides when there is a dispute. Even the SNAD (significantly not as described) sales on eBay will require a return to the seller in order to prove the buyer’s claim. Of course, in those cases, sellers sometimes have to pay for return shipping regardless of their return policies. If the cost of return shipping exceeds the value of the (potentially SNAD) item, then sellers find that it may be cheaper to refund regardless of the legitimacy of the case filed by buyer.

However, too many sellers give up and simply refund money without proof of SNAD and return tracking.
