I was going to import my eBay feedback, but since it’s not much then I won’t do it unless my customers can add feedback and I can ask them for feedback.

Customers can leave feedback…advice don’t ask for it though.
there is a setting in your Account Settings
Notification preferences to send buyer reminder for feedback…it goes out automatically after about 30 days….
Truthfully I have that disabled too…
I actually do not like fb reminders and ignore all requests for fb from a seller….just my personal preferences…if I’m pleased you will know and if not you will also know it…

PS import your fb, there are some things that you cannot add until a certain amount of fb is reached. After you get someone bonz, you can have the imported fb removed

I agree, don’t ask for FB. The setting to ask for FB is a default, or at least it used to be. I wasn’t aware that it was enabled. The one negative I have was left for me 30-31 days after the transaction. It coincided with the feedback reminder. I recognize that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I question the validity of this negative as the comment included just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. And I never heard from the buyer regarding this transaction, other than the FB. I can only surmise that my buyer was annoyed by the reminder. Now you may say I’m just making excuses, but I still maintain that FB reminders are not a positive thing.

When i have a sale, there is a small section where it says to send a message to the buyer….So I send them a thank you for the order & that it will be shipped soon (also lets them know I am here on bonanza and did indeed receive their order, many sellers are not active on bonz any longer, which is why i do this) But in addition to the thank you, I also say “if you are happy with this transaction, please come back if you get a moment and leave me feedback as it helps greatly with my business” I am not even aware if they receive this message or not. But i have had a few come back and leave me Pos. fb. Have not had a problem with neg. fb as of yet.
