IF you ship online, go to “Paypal ship now” you will be able to ship small items for $2.60 1st class up to 7.99 oz. Also, you can ship up to 15.99 oz now 1st class, with the highest cost being 3.65…. This price is NOT available if you walk into the post office, their price’s are still at a cut off at 13 oz for 1st class, then it jumps to priority

Hello [URL removed]
I try to keep as simple as possible. I bought a postal scale to weight products in their shipping packaging, and I use USPS First Class. Haven’t been using scale much. Have been picking a shipping fee to add to each product. May be using scale more in the future to determine more accurate fee to cover all distances/zip codes, and refund any overages.
I do have some Flat Rate boxes and envelopes, and each one has a set price to ship whatever will fit into it (up to a very heavy weight shown on USPS chart). I’m learning to add that option to some listings, along with my standard USPS First Class. For some things that I will list in the future I’ll only use Flat Rate packaging. If I am correct, Flat Rate packaging is shipped as Priority Mail by USPS, and insurance is included.

I’ve sold for years now, make my living at it in fact. I’d suggest that you simply ship first class usps. if they are expensive, get the insurance for the package. I have had things disappear in the mail after they got to the post office but not often.
