Can i have a few listings up for sale without everything going up for sale?

I’d like to list some things up for sale. But I have inventory on reserve that I do not want to have up for sale. When I list an item, is there a way to keep the other listings on reserve without having them go up for sale?

I’m thinking I can remove shipping, for example, on the reserved listing but I really do not want to have to remove anything that will cause a lot of work/confusion later on.

The listings I have on reserve right now are in storage, so I do not want them to go back up for sale/become active right now. Those listings are not with me right now. I want to list a few items I came across the other day while I was out on the hunt that are with me.

I just want to list them without my reserved listings becoming active at the same time. When I go to list, will my reserved listings automatically come back up for sale in my booth?

Thanks,

Sharon

No, noting (neither ‘reserved’ listings nor ‘ready to post’ and ‘incomplete’) is automatically set to be for sale.

You would have to choose one (some or all) of those listings and make them visible online by clicking on “Set to For-Sale” option.

So, You can proceed and list “some things” without worrying about Your reserved listings.

To be more confident that all has been done correctly, You can check before and after adding new items, on Your “Add or edit items” page, how many ‘reserved listing’ You had/have (on the left side, under Item Status, they are marked with a gray dot):

Thank you Tammie. This is definitely an idea.

You can select any items you want using the Batch Edit Items feature and apply a discount just to those items. If you FILTER just for the items you have FOR SALE, you can apply discounts to any/all of those items.

If you want to temporarily reduce the price by putting items on sale and then REVERT back to your original price later, you might want to check out this [URL removed]

I’m sorry. I must have stated my question confusing. I will attempt to word it differently. Thank you.

Empress, I don’t like the reserve feature, so what I do is just remove the price, and I will still be able to see it when I edit something.
