Noticed it today in the Order Summary box. Just wanted to point it out in case others missed it.
I usually don’t have a reason to call a buyer but it’s nice to have it there instead of trying to track it down via their method of payment.

On ebay phone numbers are always provided in the paypal transaction info. It’s actually important to have that number. If a seller is shipping UPS or any way other than USPS the phone number is suppose to be provided on the shipping label in case of delivery problems. I’ve had deliveries in the winter months from both FedEx & UPS where they can’t get in my driveway with their vehicles and they have called me & I’ve met them to pick up my package. When a shipper doesn’t print my phone # on the label I have to drive over 100 miles round trip to the UPS facility to pick up my packages. It makes it a whole lot more convenient if the packages have my phone number on them.

It’s very handy to have, although I hadn’t noticed it previously. As mentioned above, it’s nice to have if there’s a delivery problem.
Canada Post asks for it on international parcels, so it would be nice if it came up. I know lots of people freak out over giving their phone number (Etsy) and claim they wouldn’t buy from a seller who required it. Really? If it was only populated on the shipping label, it would be used as needed. What the heck good is it for the delivery driver to call ME (the seller), if your (the buyer) driveway is blocked or something?

It’s been there a while but in the ten years that I’ve been selling on Bonanza, I’ve only had ONE buyer fill in their phone number.
