I made a booth for a few months last year.
I then closed it for a few months.
NO traffic at all.
Do I have to make a webstore to have my booth show?
Even push the free button?
Hope this makes sense. If I do not choose one my booth will not activate at all?
Thanks. Sandy

A Bonanza Booth is FREE. No membership or listing fees are needed. However, you will pay a commission when the item sells. As others stated, there are different commission rates based on the advertising level you choose. A Bonanza membership (Silver, Gold, etc.) offers you extras for a monthly fee.
A Bonanza Webstore is totally different. It is created from the listings that you have in your Bonanza Booth. A Bonanza Webstore is like having your own website. You can even have your own unique website URL/name/address. Basically, you are paying $25/month for Bonanza to host a website for you that allows you to sell your items. That fee is comparable to other website hosts that are structured for e-commerce. With Boanza’s Webstore, you don’t have to recreate your listings since they are automatically added from your FREE Bonanza booth. Also, anything you sell from the Webstore incurs NO SELLING FEES (and obviously, no listing fees).
However, you will have to promote your own webstore since the items are NOT submitted to Google Shopping, though your web store will show up in organic Google searches. However, according to a recent Bill Harding blog, Bonanza is working toward a system that will promote your Webstore items via Google Shopping. Not sure when that arrives or if there are any costs associated with it. Here’s an excerpt from the Blog that mentions [URL removed]
“In November of this year, we came to agreement with Google to be admitted into their Channel Partnership program. This means that we gain access to a host of fun new tools we can use to extend our lead as the best Google Shopping integration. An early fruit of this partnership will be a Broadcaster for Webstores, that we hope to have live by Q2. This product will take the underpinnings of our marketplace advertising tool, and add powerful new options like remarketing and keyword targeting.”

Your free booth is up and active. There is nothing else for you to do.

You are not required to have a paid webstore or any paid membership at all in fact it is quite easy to have just a free booth here totally free to list and can have as many categories & items as you like. You just have to decide how much if any advertising you are willing to pay for like the levels organic which is you creating your own traffic is free & 3.5% fee on any sales when an item sells you can do 9%, I think 13% 19% & I believe 30%. Having a higher percentage increases your chances of being seen on Google shopping & Bonanza does some kind of advertising for you. Also important be sure to check all Google listing requirements if not in compliance they won’t include your listings.
If you closed the booth I’m not sure what happens but if the site didn’t store your data & listings you’ll simply need to re import & relist your items, policies, etc. Anyway welcome back & good luck!

Thank you all. I appreciate it.
I guess the fact the Webstore link has at the top a FREE choice this threw me off.
I was here years ago but it has all changed.
Thank you all again.
Sincerely,
Sandy

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
