Booth or store front?

Ok, so I lost here. I signed up for a $40 plan, don’t really know what that entails. But I do know I have a booth. Set it up and everything’s fine. My questions is, what is the $40 a month for and do I need to get a storefront for $25 a month and if so, why.

I also did the traffic boost for $24.95 and have only received 1 hit / view in almost 24 hrs.. thought is was to drive up to 300% more traffic.. nothing so far..

I’m I expecting to much to fast? I sell on Amazon and eBay and get traffic all day and sell, even when I first started..

Any help of advice would be great..

Thanks in advance,

Personal opinion…would not have signed up for any paying plan until the booth was actually all set up…and running

Now to answer your question, 1 day, yes you are expecting too much too fast.
Hopefully you signed up to have your items sent to google shopping (also make sure they are google compliant). Takes a while to get search rankings and you will need that to be successful out side of ebay/amazon

This is not ebay, nor amazon neither of which depends on google shopping for their buyers. Here you have to bring the buyers to your items.

Don’t bother with a store front until you know how a booth works, since they are both tied together. Since you signed up for the gold membership…familiarize yourself with the options that the plan involves…sign up for google analytics, learn how to put ads in your booth panels, custom sorting if you want or need it…etc…

Turbo traffic was probably a bit premature…as of now you only have 23 items in your booth and it would not be cost effective. It will drive more traffic to an established booth…but you really are not established yet. Also, it is probably a bit hard buying ads for the type of items you sell..turbo pack are click ads

As said before…selling anywhere online other that ebay or amazon is an entirely different experience and requires different criteria

Welcome and good luck

Thanks for the info.. yes I’m running the Google, Bing, and other shopping sites.. I’m Google compliant and pretty good at the SEO, getting links.. So I’ll give it a month or so.. I have found my products in Google shopping so that’s a plus. Thanks again for the info..

ccmom, you are a wealth of information!

It’s a waste of money to buy any plans.

Get your items listed and get to know this site.
I would give it a month so that your items can get indexed online.
Then think hard on having a booth or using the promotions. This all adds to your costs.
