Bonanza seller used amazon fba, package lost. she won't refund my money

Bonanza seller used Amazon FBA, package lost. She won’t refund my money. I’ve contacted Amazon and since it was not an Amazon order, they won’t help. They write this in regards to them having an Amazon return [URL removed] “Yes, I am really not sure how they did that. But if it isn’t an order from Amazon.com and wasn’t on your Amazon account, there is no way for us to recover any funds for it.”
Seller won’t help and just states [URL removed] “Hi, Thank you for your message. We have already spoken with UPS on your behalf. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Be well, Melissa”
All I want is my $65.29 refund back. Paypal has denied my claim as seller stated that package was delivered. I’m more than frustrated as its been since 11/6/19 and seller just throws her hands up without offering my refund, I’m having to make hours upon hours of calls. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

IS IT ME or are we talking a 2 year old item here. You Stated " I’m more than frustrated as its been since 11/6/17 and seller just throws her hands up " keyword being 2017. Is that a typo as you really need your facts straight.

Not that any sellers here can help you retrieve your package but it very well could be that the item WAS delivered and you were a victim of Porch Pirates.

No, it’s not just you….it is 2-year old item lol…unless the wrong year was typed.

Atomicdiner says: November 22, 2019

And YET, NO return comment back from the original poster about it. Hmmmmm.

If OP’s post relates to a 2-year old post, then GAME OVER.

tomwayne1 says: November 22, 2019

I meant “2-year old sale”.

EmpressDepot says: November 22, 2019

Lol at Tom Wayne.

EmpressDepot says: November 22, 2019

I bet u it was bought 2 years ago since the OP was posted one day ago.

TYPO…2019

curlykid2 says: November 25, 2019

I have a video camera, no delivery, no porch pirates wither thankfully.

You should also contact Bonanza Support and let them know the situation and the name of the seller. The fact that people are using Amazon basically as a supplier for inventory is a real problem for everybody concerned.

The seller may not have been using Amazon as a “supplier for inventory”. I believe one can use Amazon FBA to fullfill orders made on other channels outside of Amazon.

Piccolo_Sorso says: November 22, 2019

FBA is a great way to store inventory and let them ship your items to your customers. Nothing wrong with that.

curlykid2 says: November 25, 2019

I have contacted them multiple times without any assistance to the fact that I still have no item, seller still has my money. I’ve contact seller and she stated that they have contacted UPS. I asked her what they said and that was 4 days ago without any response.

File a claim and insist on “proof” that the package was delivered. If seller can’t provide proof, you should get $$ back from the payment processor (not Amazon or Bonanza).

You should be able to win your PayPal claim (file officially if you haven’t already) if the seller can’t PROVE it was delivered via some sort of tracking method. If she purchased it from Amazon and had it shipped to you as a gift item, Amazon only has your shipping details and the seller information. They would have that info based on the tracking number that they supply to the seller. At a minimum, you should demand the Amazon tracking number from the seller. Also, if the seller indicated that UPS has the package, UPS should be able to tell you if there is a delivery scheduled to your address, even if you don’t have a tracking number.

They said it was Amazon FBA, which is a legitimate use of the Amazon service – it could have been her own product that was “fullfilled by Amazon” (ie, shipping by them). I don’t use it personally, but my understanding is that you can use FBA to fulfill any sales, even those on other channels

tomwayne1 says: November 21, 2019

I agree with what you said, but that info doesn’t impact what I stated about tracking or PayPal claim.

EmpressDepot says: November 21, 2019

Just throwing this out there, but looks like fba can make Amazon look bad when this happens. It’s hard and confusing for buyers to understand the difference….at least sometimes that is IMO

Atomicdiner says: November 22, 2019

Just throwing this out here….. How do they know it is Amazon FBA… Because it came in an Amazon BOX??? I re-use Amazon boxes all the time because PO seems to do a faster job of shipping thru their system (I dont belong to Amz). Finding Amz boxes on recycle day (that I use) is like GOLD to me.

EmpressDepot says: November 22, 2019

I don’t know Atomic, maybe the seller told her that. Other than that, I don’t know how someone would really know. A few times when my husband bought online from eBay it came in one of those boxes. It was confusing. Amazon boxes must be real sturdy?

EmpressDepot says: November 22, 2019

Tomwaune, the op says papal denied the claim, so on papals end it must show the package as being delivered.

EmpressDepot says: November 22, 2019

Tomwayne, not Tomwaune

tomwayne1 says: November 22, 2019

The OP said that the “seller stated that package was delivered.” If the seller can prove that with a tracking number, then the seller is off the hook. If the seller can’t prove delivery, then seller must refund.

Atomicdiner says: November 22, 2019

Now what me and empress really want to know is tomwayne1 an alias for brucewayne… the real Batman? There is only 1 brucewayne in my book.

EmpressDepot says: November 22, 2019

After typing tomwaune I thought about someone in karate like in the movies. Ha ha

tomwayne1 says: November 23, 2019

@Atomicdiner… Shhhh. Don’t tell.

EmpressDepot says: November 23, 2019

Last year I think I had more giftable items for sale. This year I was not able to concentrate more on that end.

EmpressDepot says: November 23, 2019

Crap, I commented on the total wrong thread lol.

The return address label says “Amazon” with a local Amazon shipping centers address.

How do you know that the return address label says “Amazon” if you didn’t get the package? If the seller can’t prove delivery with a valid tracking number (you should ask for and check tracking yourself), then you should win your case. It doesn’t matter where the package was shipped from.

Sadly if you did not receive it, then it was probably a UPS delivery error and the seller is not liable for that. UPS would be the one giving your refund.
