As a seller can i mail an item without tracking?

If I am selling a cheaper item, to keep sale prices down I want to mail without tracking. Does Bonanza require tracking in order for sellers to get paid when selling an item?

No.

Not a good idea, you need that information to cover your butt in case of any issues, also most customers prefer you give them tracking info as well. Simply bump up to first class package and tracking is free and bump your shipping cost to the customer up a bit to cover the added expense. All part of doing business.

Why price yourself out of the market only to leave money with the carrier over tracking? IOW, if you CAN ship it w/o tracking, you ought to do so in every case.

In answer to your [URL removed] yes, you can ship without tracking on Bonanza and you will still get paid. As the previous commenter pointed out, you do potentially open yourself up to unscrupulous buyers who might demand a refund because “they never received it” (since you can’t prove otherwise). But you said this is for shipping a cheaper item, so in that case you can just build the potential for the occasional forced refund into your pricing / business model.

To ship an inexpensive sportscard USPS FCP, Commercial Rate is $4.26 to zone 9. In a 6-3/4" envelope with cardstock on both sides, it’s 60 cents. Who is gonna bother to scam that??

yes, that’s exactly my point. Just build any potential loss into your pricing – it’s a few extra cents at most.
