Are webstores worth it?

I was just looking at info for the webstores and got an email that I had opened one!
Hope support can fix it in case I do decide to open one. I don’t want to lose the free trial of it.
Anyway, it made me wonder if it’s worth the $25.00 a month.
I am in the process of shutting down my booth but may give it another try if I hear good feedback.

If you have a web store somewhere else / it may be interesting to evaluate the web store as the big difference is all sku’s are shared with your booth … still learning about Bonanza as we are new here … but this place beats the heck out of Rakuten (prior Buy.com) / still not sure about conversions but this place looks great so far!

For the most part a stand alone webstore can take up to a year to start paying for itself, simply because you will need to establish your site, advertise, etc on your own. These stores being linked to a your bonz booth, I do not know how they will behave. If you are not ready to make the commitment that it takes to run a stand alone store at this time, it may not be what you are looking for.

I have been wondering the same thing. .. I’m an Etsy seller mostly, but had heard good things about Bonanza. ..
I’ve been disappointed so far …maybe it’s worth the investment to open a booth, but then again it could be a complete waste!

What’s the best way to drive traffic to your site? Do you guys write a blog, tweet incessantly, or use Google AdWords?

What about linking your site to WordPress?
arrgh….just a tiny bit frustrated at the moment. ..

Do you have your Advertise Items turned on? I have been picking up alot of orders this past month. Click on Sell on Bonanza- Edit Booth Options – Advertise Items – I have most of mine set on Superior. I just keep this inconsideration as I price my items that this fee will be there..

Any new comments. I am thinking about opening a webstore as a couple of my wholesalers will no longer sell to me unless I get one. They want to do away with all their dealers that are selling on ebay, etc.
