It is wierd that Bonanza charges membership fees of $24/month + 16% commission on sales. Most selling websites have a Commission or Membership charge. Bonanza does both.
Am i the only one feeling hard done by this?

You choose what you want to pay..
Paid Membership is optional and runs from $10 to $200/mo depending on what you need and your volume (and many go with the free option membership $0/mo) …and you choose your fees from 3.5% (no advertising) to 16% (to max ad clicks)…
If you cannot support either, then perhaps choosing other options would be best…
Personally, I go with no membership (Have one now because it was a gift from a friend) and 9% because that is what my items support…

Dear ccmom, can you, please, compare (generally of course) the results before with no membership and now having it?
Do you see a big difference?

Membership is not worth it in my opinion.

Ebay does the same thing…IF you want a membership you have to pay for it and they still charge you final value fee’s on items….At least Bonanza does not hide your listings because you don’t have a membership like ebay does..

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
