I recently saw Bonanza mentioned as a viable selling platform. Reading about the ebay importer, I was excited about the potential of extra eyes. Having learned the hard way about acceptable items to post (my account was suspended for posting an unopened BiPap hose, for a machine we no liner had, a couple years ago), I’ve vehemently shut down every seller attempt to work a deal, outside of ebay’s platform. AND, this could not be related to any other issue, as most listings have been deactivated for over a week, due to an emergency-related out-of-town trip.
As I type, I guess the warning, quite obviously, can only be related to Bonanza. However, I seriously admire everything I’ve discovered about this platform, thus far. Maybe my question [URL removed] Has anyone discovered a process that allows for the extra exposure of their ebay listings, through Bonanza, that doesn’t jeopardize the standing with ebay?
I am truly saddened by the time I’ve lost, thinking I would add to my overall sales volume, so at the least… perhaps other potential cross-sellers will do some deep research before making the exact same mistake.

Your items on eBay are simply duplicated on Bonanza after the import. Of course, you can then remove from Bonanza any items you don’t want to sell on Bonanza’s site. After the import, there is NO tie between the two platforms, except for the fact that you can choose to synchronize the inventory from any changes due to sales or manual deletions. However, that is just an automatic adjustment and is the same adjustment that could be made manually if you turn off synchronization.
So. listing on Bonanza does NOT jeopardize your eBay listings in any manner. Now, if you choose the 13% (or higher) advertising rate on Bonanza and then PUBLISH your Bonanza items to eBay, then it could be possible that you send an item from Bonanza to eBay that might be prohibited on eBay. Then again, if you are creating new listings, you are probably doing that using eBay (and then importing), so that should not be a concern.

I don’t do business with eBay. However, the danger exists that Bonanza may interpret duplicate listings imported from other platforms as illegitimate. I have counteracted this by listing items manually, with some tag words cut so that the titles are not identical.
