Curious to know if anyone has recently read any internet blogs/articles on how sales are going all over the internet in general for holiday shopping?
I was making a search last night but could not seem to find a good article on it.
I also wonder how Halloween sales did all over in comparison to the previous year. I’ve seen articles where they say Halloween 2018 expected…hopefully good news there and will spread out through Christmas and into January.
I belong to a small group where we post on a site. Usually, we talk a little more, so I do not know how they are doing at this point so far. We all sell at different places for the most part, which helps to know.
I’ve had one sale that I know would not be used as a Christmas item. I am looking into my crystal ball and I see a sale coming in tomorrow lol.

Funny that I would have things here in the past that would not sell on Ebay and they sold here in short order. Now I can have something here for a very long time and I would move it onto Ebay and it would sell but lately Ebay has dried up for me (with no views ~ almost like here) because I dont jump thru all of Ebays hoops like guaranteed delivery (like I have control over the PO) and free shipping and returns with free shipping. Latest being joining their new payment system and ditching Paypal for their payment system (where you need to ship item BEFORE Ebay pays you for it ~ NO THANKS). Now it seems on Ebay, because I dont play the way they want, I am banished to the forbidden zone with NO views at all.
As a note of record, I dont go in here (and never have) with their paid memberships and I just advertise at the 9 pct level (to get my stuff into Google.)
I may also be on Double Secret Probation here as many times my answers dont seem to show up or get deleted shortly afterwards. But I still Prefer Bonanza over the other choices.
It is just a hobby for me and keeps me occupied so I am not chasing the wife all over the house all the time.

I haven’t seen anything about this, but looking at my lack of sales here, I’d love to know which sites are selling.

I made a sale here last week. That was the first sale I’ve had for a LONG time on ANY of the sites I sell on.
There’s just way to much competition online. I doubt any site is doing well anymore. This pie has been sliced so thin that it’s hard for any one seller~~or any one site, for that matter~~can do very well.
I’ve been narrowing my scope of themes on all my sites. I think this will help improve my sales, but probably not by much. I use to think that casting a wide net (in way of offering a wide variety of items) was the way to go. Now I’m thinking that streamlining my products into just a few types is the better option. I think I should focus on long-term customers as opposed to constantly luring in new ones.
I’m just going to stick with the things I [URL removed] mechanical watches, lapel pins, handmade voodoo dolls, and handmade cat toys.

I have been on Bonanza since it was Bonanzel 2008, I think we all had more sales back then. Seems to me with the name change things had slowed down. I have been away for a while and now working hard on my booth again. Sales have been slow, for me on all the sites I am on. Ebay was doing good but the last few months it has died out for me. Lots of networking and posting on Pinterest does help.
