I just opened my shop on Bonanza. I’ve been opened for a few weeks now but I my stats are very low. Any one recommend what I can do to improve my shop or drive traffic to my shop? Also, if you have a strategy that works, it would be great if you can share them!

Hi @WDAM,
Thank you for reaching out. One of the most common questions on Bonanza is how to increase sales. It is difficult to form one response that will work for everyone, as each seller’s situation and business is different. We have created a help page that will help you zero in on key areas to increase the possibility of [URL removed]

Looks like you currently only have 1 active item in your booth. If you’ve listed additional products, you will want to go to your “My Booth > Add or edit items” page and click the button to update your booth and publish your listings for sale.
Hope that helps!

If you are using bonanza since it is free to list unless it sells as a way of promoting then that is fine .I dont think as stated above that this would be the most beneficial marketplace for your type of products/work . Also there is tons of cookie cutter designs out there that are highly proficient and cheap nowadays , you really need to establish why you are different.

I see that you do web design. All I can say is just promote your “item” on other social media sites if you want people to come to this site. I’m thinking Wordpress or a similar site would be a better place instead to promote your web design business.

Join free Bonanza groups, i.e. Tweet for tweet, Twitter, Tweet Retweet, and others. You have people in the group that will promote your items to their twitter and in my case I also will use my Pinterest and sometimes Facebook. For free you are getting your item/store out there to others. Look under HELP, then ASK THE COMMUNITY, then go into Fun and Games.

Hello [URL removed]
If you have some more products/services to offer, you should add those to flesh-out your shop. Don’t know what the magic number is, but customers are more attracted to shops with a good selection of merchandise. Your 1 service is a very high-ticket one. Could you break it down into several individual services that would be more affordable for potential customers?
I agree with sleekhairbeauty and candyapple861 that there may not be a large market here for your 1 product. No matter where you are listing though, you should depend upon your own self to drive traffic to your shop. Continuous marketing, promotion and good public relations is the way to increase views.
I never open an online shop with less than 5 products. That’s just my personal business procedure.
Welcome to Bonanza and I hope you do well here,
Sandi

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
