I have a necklace of Baroque Pearls and Black Glass Beads. I can’t show you the signature as it is was too small, had to use a loupe. The gold spacers and clasp are 14K. It is marked W.W.
I know Hobe’s name was W.W. Hobe but this does not say Hobe. I have searched and searched and cannot find a jewelry mark W.W. Anyone here ever heard of it?

I looked in all of my books and the only thing I could find was a mark “Joseph Wiesner W.W.”. I don’t know why the 2 Ws and don’t know if they ever used the W.W. along. This is the only thing I could find with the W.W. as any part of the mark. Do you have a pic of the piece or the mark? Looks like Wiesner did some nice rhinestone and/or Rhinesthone & pearl pieces.
Just rechecked in another book and they list the marks as “Joseph Wiesner, N.Y.”, “Wiesner” and “Astra”.

I cannot get a pic of the WW it is on the gold clasp and it is so very tiny. Here is a pic of the necklace.
